Flappy Swan (the “Game”) is built to collect as little as possible. This page explains what information is involved when you play.
What we don't collect
The Game has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms. We don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details, and we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking.
Stored on your device
The Game saves your best score in your browser's local storage under the key bsbest. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your site data.
Usage analytics
On the live site we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Game is used. It records page views and a few simple events: when a round starts (game_played) and when you tap or click while playing (game_tap, along with the type of pointer, such as touch or mouse). Vercel Web Analytics doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It may process technical details such as your browser, device type, approximate location (country) and the page you visited. See Vercel's analytics privacy documentation for details.
Fonts and hosting
The Game loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download it and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. The Game is hosted on Vercel, which, like any host, processes your IP address and request details to serve the site and keep it secure.
Sound
The Game may play short warning tones using your browser's audio features. It doesn't access your microphone or record any audio.
Children
The Game isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the Game doesn't collect personal details, there is nothing to remove, but you can contact us if you have a concern.
Your choices
- Clear your browser's site data to delete your saved best score.
- Use your browser's tracking-protection or content-blocking features to block analytics.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
